Health Intake & Medical Screening
Intake form required for all visits: Every patient must complete a health intake form before their first visit and at any point where their health history has changed significantly, annually at minimum. The intake form collects information about your current health status, medications, allergies, and goals for your visit. Every intake is reviewed by our clinical team before your appointment. The intake is not a formality. It’s how we personalize your care and screen for any contraindications that might affect which services are appropriate for you.
Medical clearance: A $39 medical clearance call is required before or during your first visit. A licensed clinician will review your health history through a brief telehealth call to confirm IV therapy is right for you. Patients who have been with us for a full year receive their annual renewal at no charge.
Contraindications: Certain health conditions or abnormal vital signs collected at the beginning of your appointment may disqualify a patient from receiving IV therapy services or specific ingredients. These include but are not limited to liver disease, kidney disease, congestive heart failure, certain cardiac conditions, active infections requiring medical treatment, and uncontrolled hypertension. This list is not exhaustive. If you have a complex medical history, we encourage you to reach out before booking so we can discuss whether our services are appropriate for your situation.
Allergy disclosure: All known allergies must be disclosed on the intake form including medication allergies, food allergies, and allergies to latex or adhesives. Good Day IV & Wellness is not liable for adverse reactions arising from undisclosed allergies or health conditions.
Right to modify or decline service: Good Day IV & Wellness reserves the right to modify, postpone, or decline any service at any point โ before or during a visit โ if clinical concerns arise. This includes information disclosed on the intake form, information shared during the pre-visit consultation, or any change in a patient’s condition during the visit. If a service is discontinued for clinical reasons, the patient will not be charged for the portion of the service not received.
Medical director oversight: All clinical services at Good Day IV & Wellness are provided by a licensed registered nurse under the supervision of a licensed medical director. Good Day IV & Wellness does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for any medical condition. IV therapy is a wellness service and is not a substitute for emergency or primary medical care.
Booking & Scheduling
How to book โ In-Clinic: In-clinic appointments are booked directly through our online booking system. Select your service, choose an available time, and complete your intake form when prompted. Your appointment is confirmed once the intake form is submitted and you receive a confirmation message.

Patients between the ages of 12 and 17 may receive limited services with written consent from a parent or legal guardian who must be present for the duration of the visit. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellation notice and fees: We ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice for all cancellations and rescheduling requests. This applies to in-clinic and mobile bookings. Rescheduling: Rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice is treated the same as a late cancellation and may be subject to the same fee.
Late arrivals: Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late for an in-clinic appointment may forfeit their appointment depending on schedule availability or may be asked to reschedule. We will make every effort to accommodate late arrivals without impacting other scheduled patients.
Illness and emergencies: We understand that sometimes cancellations are unavoidable. If you are cancelling due to sudden illness or a genuine emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to be accommodating at our discretion in documented circumstances. This exception is applied case by case and is not guaranteed.

Frequently Asked Questions
General/Safety
Yes, when administered by licensed professionals. We use medical-grade ingredients sourced exclusively from compounding pharmacies outsourcing under strict FDA guidelines. Our clinical protocols are designed, reviewed, and overseen by our Medical Director, and every treatment is administered by a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
IV therapy delivers vitamins, minerals, and fluids directly into your bloodstream through a small IV line, bypassing the digestive system so your body absorbs close to 100% of what’s in the drip. That’s why people often feel results faster than they would from oral supplements. It’s a proven method for nutrient delivery that has been used in clinical settings for decades.
It depends on what you’re coming in for. Some patients come once a week, some once a month, some more often in certain seasons, and some just as needed. We’ll make a recommendation based on your goals, but we’ll never push you toward more visits than we truly think would be helpful. Most treatments have a maximum weekly dose.
No. Our medical director provides the standing orders and medical oversight for all of our treatments. You donโt need to see your primary care physician beforehandโour licensed on-duty staff will handle your medical screening right at the start of your appointment.
Side effects are generally mild and rare. The most common experiences include a cool sensation in your arm during the infusion (as the fluids are room temperature), a localized vitamin taste/smell during the drip, or minor bruising at the injection site afterward. If there are any particular side effects associated with an ingredient, the nurse will discuss it with you prior to your treatment. Extremely rare risks include local infection or inflammation of the vein or allergic reaction, which our nurses are strictly trained to prevent and control through rigorous sterile techniques and clinical emergency procedures. The nurse keeps emergency equipment and medications on site.
Eligibility
In-Clinic appointments are typically available on Fridays during business hours. Check our booking page for the most up to date availability. Mobile appointments and special events are flexible but limited and require advanced notice through our interest forms which are also available on our booking page.
We do accept walk ins for in-clinic appointments on most occasions, but it depends on the schedule for the day.
Most healthy adults are great candidates! Before your very first treatment, you will complete a quick health history screening. Our medical team reviews this and checks your vitals (blood pressure, pulse) to determine if there are any treatments you are ineligible for. If it’s determined that you’re not able to receive an IV, IM shots may be a great choice. Note: We may not be able to treat clients with certain pre-existing medical conditions, such as chronic kidney disease, liver disease, or congestive heart failure. Please contact us if you have any concerns.
Our clinical staff consists of highly experienced medical professionals with lots of IV start experience. They are exceptionally skilled at working with small, rolling, or deep veins. If you traditionally have a hard time, just let us know ahead of time. We will take extra care, use localized warming techniques, and take our time to get the best possible chance of a single-stick experience. If you know you are typically a hard stick, please do your best to stay hydrated leading up to your appointment.
Yes, but please book a mobile visit in order to respect other possibly immunocompromised clients in our clinic space. Note: If you have a highly contagious or severe respiratory illness and are requesting a mobile visit, please notify us during scheduling so our nurses can wear appropriate protective gear.
During your brief initial medical history screening, our medical team will cross-reference your current prescription list. Most standard medications (for blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid, birth control, etc.) do not interact negatively with basic hydration and vitamin therapy. If an interaction risk exists, our on-duty medical provider will safely adjust your vitamin formulation on the spot.
IV hydration is fantastic for pre-surgery preparation or post-op recovery to assist your body in cellular healing. However, we highly recommend consulting with your surgeon before receiving any therapies within two weeks before or after a scheduled surgical procedure.
Payments and Pricing
No. Cash is only accepted as tips. No change is kept in our service locations.
HSA/FSA cards are accepted as payment, but please check with your HSA/FSA provider to see if these services are eligible with your plan. Because IV therapy delivers essential nutrients, hydration, and medical-grade wellness support, many HSA and FSA providers approve these health expenses, but only your plan provider can answer for certain.
Tipping is never expected, but it is always completely appreciated! Our nurses are dedicated medical professionals who work hard to deliver a safe, comfortable experience directly to you. If you feel your nurse went above and beyond, you are welcome to tip them in cash or add a gratuity via credit card at the final checkout screen.
We will attempt to place an IV a maximum of three times. In the rare event that our medical team determines your veins are completely inaccessible that day due to dehydration or medical anomalies, we will not charge you for the treatment or travel fee. We can explore IM injections if you would still like to receive treatment during your visit, in which case the travel fee would still apply, but the minimum spend is waived.
We ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice for all cancellations and rescheduling requests. This applies to in-clinic and mobile bookings. A cancellation fee of $50 may apply for late cancellations, late reschedules, no shows, or late arrivals.
Special event cancellations are subject to separate terms outlined in your event agreement. In general, cancellations more than 14 days before the event date may receive a partial refund of any deposit paid. Cancellations within 14 days of the event date forfeit the deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours of the event date may be subject to additional fees to cover preparation costs already incurred.
We require a card on file to secure your appointment time. Your card will not be charged when you book โ it is held on file only to process cancellation or no-show fees if they apply, or to collect payment for services at the time of your visit. This allows us to offer a smoother checkout experience and ensures appointment times are protected for all of our patients.
The Appointment Experience
IV Therapy: Relax for 30 to 60 minutes while premium hydration and vitamins are delivered directly into your bloodstream.
IM Shots: Perfect for a busy schedule, these targeted vitamin injections take just a few minutes and provide a wellness boost that lasts.
NAD+: Experience deep, restorative cell renewal with an advanced cellular therapy delivered as a slow, measured IV drip over 1.5 to 3 hours for maximum safety and comfort.
Niagen: All the benefits of NAD+ but faster, gentler, and easier on your body infusing over 30 to 60 minutes.
Two simple things can make a big difference:
Eat a snack: We recommend having a small meal or snack in your system before arriving to prevent lightheadedness, as high doses of vitamins can occasionally lower blood sugar slightly.
Drink water: Being hydrated makes your veins easier to find, resulting in a smoother, quicker stick.
Absolutely! There is zero downtime. You can immediately return to your normal daily routine, head back to the office, or go smash a workout. In fact, many athletes prefer getting an IV right before a major endurance event or heavy training block.
There are no strict restrictions! You can go about your day normally. We simply recommend leaving the small wrap or bandage over your IV site for at least 15 to 30 minutes to ensure the vein closes completely and doesn’t bruise. Keep drinking a normal amount of water to keep the cellular flush moving.
Yes! While we offer a full menu of curated blends optimized for specific goals (like immunity, recovery, energy, or glowing skin), you can completely customize your bag or add any additional ingredients, so long as they are compatible with the rest of your drip.
Mobile & Event Services
Yes! We are a mobile IV clinic and can offer services throughout the Twin Cities. We can come to your home, hotel, workplace, or gym for individual appointments or events like bachelor/bachelorette parties, athletic competitions, or even your backyard barbecue. Please contact us through our interest forms on our booking page to see if we may be available to come to you. The further out we can schedule, the more likely we will be able to accommodate the request.
To bring our mobile clinic directly to your home, office, or hotel, we require a travel fee typically ranging from $25-$75. The travel fee is calculated based on distance from our northwest Twin Cities base (the center of the 55448 zip code) and will be quoted before your booking is confirmed.
0-10 miles: $25
10-20 miles: $50
20-30 miles: $75
30+ miles: Contact for Availability/Pricing
There is also a $199 minimum spend for every mobile appointment, which can be met with any combination of our services. This does not include the travel fee. If you book with a friend, partner, or coworker at the same location, combining your services easily clears the minimum, and the travel fee can be split between clients!
Availability may be very limited, so as much lead time as possible helps ensure you can get an appointment. Typically at least 48-72 hours is required.
Ingredients & Science
IV (Intramuscular) Drips: Deliver a high volume of fluids, hydration, and vitamins directly into a vein. It offers 100% absorption instantly, making it perfect for rapid dehydration relief and deep cellular flushes.
IM (Intramuscular) Shots: Are concentrated vitamin doses injected directly into a large muscle (typically your glute). It skips the hydration fluid but allows the vitamins to absorb cleanly into your body over several days for sustained energy.
When you swallow a vitamin pill or drink a sports beverage, it has to pass through your digestive system, which means you often only absorb about 20-30% into your bloodstream. If you have gut or digestive imbalances, this number is often even lower. An IV completely skips the gut, giving your body 100% immediate bioavailability at a cellular level. IM shots go straight into your muscle tissue, which leads to 95-100% absorption into your bloodstream.
The physical hydration fluids will balance your body’s water levels over 24 hours, but the targeted vitamins and nutrients can remain inside your cells, working to boost your baseline levels. It varies by individual, but these benefits can typically be seen for anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. The lasting health effects of consistent vitamin nutrition and hydration can last a lifetime!
No. Your body naturally absorbs exactly what it needs at a cellular level from the IV drip. Because vitamins like Vitamin C and the B-Complex family are water-soluble, any excess nutrients your cells can’t immediately store are simply processed through your kidneys and flushed out safely over the next 24 to 48 hours.
